Donaire’s left hand not seriously injured

Just after his boxing victory, the newly crowned World Boxing Organization super bantamweight champion Nonito "The Filipino Flash" Donaire received a good news when a hand specialist found out that there are no broken bones in his left hand.
Earlier, Donaire said in his interview that he hurt his left hand in the early part of his match against Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. last Saturday in San Antonio (Sunday in Manila). In spite of the pain, Donaire was able to get a split decision victory.
Donaire went to Dr. Steven Shin, the director of hand surgery in the Kerland Jobe Orthopedic Clinic in Los Angeles, who said the new champion does not have any broken bones.
"As far as we can see from his X-rays, there have been no fractures, which is very good news," Shin said.
Congratulations to your victory!
