When Mayweather stops demand, fight is on
The much anticipated match of pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao and undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr. would take place if and when Mayweather would drop the drug testing demand already.
This is according to Hall of Fame promoter Bob Arum in a gathering of media in Los Angeles last Wednesday.
According to him, Pacquiao could fight as early as September of this year but not October because of the World Series in baseball. But of course, a win in the May 2010 elections, where Pacquiao is vying for the Congressional seat in Sarangani against Roy Chiongbian, could push it to November.
Mayweather is on top of priority list but there are also other possible good contenders, among them are Antonio Margarito and Juan Manuel Marquez.
