Former Prime Minister Tony Blair covered himself from activists who threw eggs and shoes at him when he arrived at a book signing in Dublin.
Blair went to Easons on O’Connell Street to sign copies of his autobiography. More than 300 people queued to get a book signed.
The book detailed Blair’s accounts of life in Downing Street, the Iraq war, the 9/11 attacks in America and Princess Diana’s death. It also included some details of his rift with his successor Gordon Brown and his efforts to secure peace in Northern Ireland.
