Ruffa apologizes to Senator Noynoy
After acknowledging Kris Aquino’s public apology, Ruffa Gutierrez’s made her own apology to Senator Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III. Kris’s old brother got involved with the issue, when Annabelle Rama dragged his name in a phone patch interview in channel 7. In Ruffa’s statement, she cleared that her mom has no grudge against Senator Noynoy and the Aquino family.
“She never attacked the good senator’s character. She just expressed what she was feeling at that moment. Just like you and I, my mom has her own perspective and we should respect that. After all, we do live in a democracy,” the actress-host said.
“To Senator Noynoy Aquino, in behalf of my mom and the entire Gutierrez family, we sincerely apologize kung nasali po kayo sa isang babaeng usapin. Being the gentleman that you are, you will most probably just brush this off and laugh at our crazy show biz life. Let us put this episode to rest so you can focus on your campaign and everyone else can peacefully go back to work,” she added.
She also said sorry to Kris’s family, loved ones and fans. She’s happy that she and Kris were able to fix things. Ruffa and Kris will see each other on March 14 on The Buzz, since Ruffa will bid her farewell for to her friends and she said that she will treasure the 3 years in the show with great fondness.
