Robinsons Land to put up 30th shopping mall

Reportedly, Robinsons Land Corp., the property arm of conglomerate JG Summit Holdings is already putting up its first shopping mall in Pangasinan.
This will be the company’s 30th shopping mall in the country.
The said mall will be constructed on a 5.8 hectare property with a total floor area of 31,900 square meters and gross rentable area of 23,000 square meters.
This brings the total gross floor of all 30 Robinsons mall to 1.5 million square meters.
"Robinsons Calasiao reflects Robinsons Land’s commitment to expand its chain of malls in the region," Robinsons Land president Frederick Go said in a statement.
According to Go, the company selected Calasiao for its first mall in Pangasinan because the first class municipality is strategically situated between Dagupan City and San Carlos City.
Rifgt now, Robinsons Land has two malls in Pampanga and one each in the provinces of Tarlac, Ilocos Norte, Bulacan and Cabanatuan.
Recently, the company opened a shopping mall in General Santos and Dumaguete.
For next year, Robinsons Land plans to build a mall in Puerto Princesa in Palawan and two additional malls in 2012, one in Cebu and in Magnolia in Quezon City.
