Pacquiao sympathizes with Valero family
Boxing champion Manny Pacquiao showed surprise over the death of former 2-time world champ Edwin "El Dinamita" Valero, who was one of his possible future opponents.
“Nagulat ako nang malaman ko ang nangyari (I was surprised when I heard of what happened),” said Pacquiao.
“Nakikiramay ako sa pamilya niya, ipagdasal na lang natin siya (I condole with his family, let us pray for his soul),” he added.
The Venezuelan boxer who was known for his heavy hits, and went undefeated for 27 fights was put in to consideration to the possibility of fight ting with people’s champ because of his sensational fighting style.
Valero committed suicide inside his prison cell a day after being arrested for murdering his young wife.
