Pacquiao begins his training… this time for Congress
Boxing champion and presently Congressman Manny Pacquiao has started taking a short course that will help him organize his congressional duties.
Pacquiao who won a congressional seat in Sarangani province, was given a warm welcome from officials of the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) in Pasig City on Monday for a briefing.
According to Pacquiao he wants to show to Filipinos and his colleagues that he is qualified for the job.
Pacquiao was awarded Fighter of the Decade by the Boxing Writers Association of America.
One of Pacquiao’s goals is to help Filipino athletes in achieving the goal of winning the country’s first Olympic gold medal.
