NBA: Celtics lead series, 3-2
The Celtics lead the series, 3-2, and can move a win away as they took control on their 5th game to stop the 38 points of Kobe Bryant who is an inch closer to a fifth title. With Celtics taking over almost every quarter, having Paul Pierce to score with 15 of his 27 points in the first half, they showed that teamwork can stop the one-man show.

Celtics had their biggest lead in the 3rd quarter, 71-58, that Garnett started with five for five on the field and having his 5th as a 3-point play. Kobe Bryant tried to bring the team back on the game by scoring 19 points of his superb unstoppable shots with alley hoop, 3 point, and toughly guarded shots but still wasn’t enough as his teammates cannot contribute until the last 2 minutes of the quarter.
Lakers was able to cut the lead down to 6 early in the 4th quarter but Celtics did a great defense causing 2 turn-overs, making the lead immediately back to 10. Nearly end the of game, Kobe still cut the lead down to five, 87-82, with three free throws as he was fouled by Ray Allen in the 3-pt line. Celtics, however, had their advantage on a 24-second shot clock reset as the ball barely hit the ring where officials needed to review with the cameras.
Now that the game is back on LA, can they end the series in game 6? One thing for sure, game 6 will be full of action but more action will there be if game 7 happens.
