Money is Floyd Jr's weakness

Floyd MayweatherRex "Wakee" Salud one of Manny Pacquiao’s closest advisers expressed his thoughts on the possibility of Pacquiao-Mayweather match.  He believes that the cancelled fight will still happen because of the big amount of money at stake.

Pacquiao, being popular in the boxing sport, has the upper hand when it comes to fights. In other words, he calls the shots. So why is Mayweather pretending to be one? Acting as if Manny owes him a match?  Probably just his way of dealing with his nerves.  Boxers with the likes of David Diaz, Miguel Cotto and Joshua Clottey later found out that fighting with Manny is a huge payday for any boxer.

No matter what Mayweather lashed against Pacquiao, he’s fully aware of the benefits fighting with the boxing champ.

"Siya naman talaga ang gusto kong makalaban at talunin," said the Pacman after arriving at his Los Angeles home two days before his victory over Clottey during their  fight in Dallas.

When Pacquiao was asked about his thoughts fighting with the loudmouth boxer, this is what he has to say: "It’s up to him if he wants to fight me. No problem with me.  I’m ready to fight all the time."

Coach Freddie Roach couldn’t agree more with the fact that it’s the bout of Pacquao and Mayweather that everybody wants to see.  But before anything, Mayweather has to be successful with his upcoming fight with  Shane Mosley.

As a challenge Freddie Roach said, "Get into the ring Floyd and fight us."

Bob Arum agreed with Roach. "If that fight should take place, Mayweather has to sign a waiver contract, with all the strenuous issues not to be raised," said Arum. “The issue of drug testing is not for a fighter to be raised, there are absolute people who are in-charged of these issues."  Meanwhile, Mayweather was not ruffled with the challenge from Pacquiao’s camp.

"All roads lead to Floyd Mayweather Jr.  We all know that.  If (Pacquiao) wants to fight me, he doesn’t have to look far.  Just look for the biggest mansion in Vegas and that’s me." – Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Mayweather said he couldn’t wait to see the expressions on the faces of Pacquiao and Roach once he beats Mosley.

"Once I get Mosley out of the way, we’ll see what Pacquiao has to say.  Until then, I don’t want to hear about him or nothing,"  Mayweather added.

Well, the pressure now is on Mayweather to get more money when he fights Pacman.  I wonder what he’ll say if he loses the match,  will he beg Pacman to fight him even 50-50 or a lesser share?  But if he wins, he will surely give the conditions again pretending to still be on the upper hand.
