Korean fugitive granted temporary freedom after an order from Palace


Reportedly,   a Korean fugitive was given a temporary freedom after  an order from a Palace official.

Ja Hoon Ku, one of the contractors  in the construction of the Iglesia Ni Cristo’s (INC) Philippine Arena, the world’s largest domed arena is wanted for robbing  around $200 million from his company in Korea.

Ja was nabbed  by the Bureau of Immigration (BI) and was about to be deported to Korea but  he was granted a temporary freedom after  an order approved and signed  by Executive Secretary Paquito Ochoa.

In  the order, Ja will be free  while waiting  for the court’s order on his appeal  regarding his deportation case.

The korean fugitive  was freed from detention and was reprtedly turned over to members of the INC.

The Palace still has not released statement in connection with  its resolution  to halt the deportation of Ja.
