Gordon, being bribed by Villar is not impossible- Noynoy

Senator Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino Jr. of the Liberal Party closest rival of Senator Manuel Villar Jr. for presidency  made a statement regarding the bribe try issue of Senator Villar to a fellow candidate for presidency Senator Richard Gordon.

"Hindi naman natin masasabing in the realm of the impossible dahil nga ang laki laki na nga ng ginastos niya sa kampanya (We can’t say it’s in the realm of the impossible because he (Villar) has spent so much for his campaign)," Aquino said.

Villar, a real estate tycoon, is a self-made billionaire whose advertisements have been multiplying in the media even before the official campaign period began on February 9. Aquino wouldn’t want to meddle deeper with the issue, but he would leave it to the parties involved to clarify the issue.

Aquino hopes that Senator Villar will not avoid the allegations the way he did with the C-5 road extension controversy.   Gordon who is also running for president but is not faring as well as Aquino and Villar in presidential surveys, revealed that an emissary of Villar went to his house who offered to reimburse his campaign expenses and grant him a Cabinet position in a Villar presidency if he withdraws from the race. (Click here to view the related article) Villar strongly denied the accusation which caused Gordon to challenge Villar that they both undergo a lie detector test.

It’s easy to say that "I am an emissary of Villar, name your price."  What if he is someone else’s emissary?  Someone from the other presidential candidates perhaps? Vote wisely!
