Children stuffed in bags discovered in US canal
Discovered in a South Florida canal, were the bodies of two children. The first was stuffed in a suitcase, while the other in a duffle bug. Police divers are planning to go back to find more evidences, authorities said.
A resident saw the duffle bag around 9 a.m. Wednesday in Delray Beach. Police opened the baf and found a girl believed to be 6 to 10 years old. Divers found a boy later in the afternoon.
The girl was described as African-American, weighing 70 pounds to 90 pounds (32 to 40 kilograms), and about 4 to 4.5 feet (1.2 to 1.37 meters) tall. She was wearing a short-sleeved shirt, dark pants and blue Polo brand sneakers, and wore her hair braided with beads in it, Sgt. Nicole Guerriero, a police spokeswoman said.
Meanwhile the bodies were taken to the medical examiner’s office for autopsies.
