Boeing 787 Dreamliner finishes its first transatlantic flight

On Sunday Morning the Boeing 787 Dreamliner lands at the United Kingdom in support of the Farnborough International Airshow  making its international launch that starts Monday.

At 9:00 a.m., the 787 landed at the Farnborough Airport after its nonstop flight from Seattle.

"It’s an honor to showcase the 787 here at the Farnborough Airshow," said Scott Fancher, vice president and general manager of the 787 program, Boeing Commercial Airplanes. "I can’t think of a finer stage on which to present this highly anticipated airplane."

The aircraft was  built by an international team and will give airlines around the globe with a new process of efficiency in operations.

Executives and members of the board of directors of Boeing, as well as the  dignitaries from the United States and U.K. and a wide variety of media were present  to acknowledge Captains Mike Bryan and Ted Grady as they stepped off the airplane.

According to Boeing, about a dozen people boarded on the airplane perform a test during the flight. The plane will leave on Tuesday afternoon.
