Watch Live Stream: Inauguration of Newly-elect President Noynoy Aquino

The newly president-elect of the Philippines Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III will have his oath-taking   today, June 30. He is the only son of former Philippine President Corazon “Cory” Aquino and Philippines Senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino, Jr.

It was reported that Aquino changed his speech several times, wanting his message to come from the heart. He was up early today and arrived at Malacanang 15 minutes earlier than the scheduled time. Traditionally, the seated president will welcome the newly elect president.

Aquino and Arroyo shook hands and after posing for the photographers, they went outside the palace to ride the presidential car, new model of Mercedes Benz. This will be the official car of President Noynoy Aquino.

At 12 p.m. Aquino is expected to swear officially at Quirino Grand Stand.
