Victim in frat hazing finally buried in Cavite
The burial of fraternity hazing victim Daniel Lorenz Jacinto was attended by family and friends Sunday. They promised that they will continue to seek justice for the slain MAPUA Engineering student.
A Facebook page searching justice for Jacinto was also set up, joined by 3,000 supporters. White pins, T-shirts, and balloons seeking justice for the hazing victim decorated the burial of Jacinto.
“Kinuha nila ang anak ko na malusog, isinoli nila nang durog-durog. Naiingit ako sa mga magulang na di makapagpaaral pero buhay anak nila. Ako, iginagapang pero patay naman," said Danny Jacinto, father of Daniel.
Family members of the Daniel encouraged several suspects, which includes the president of the Cavite Cardinals Fraternity, to identify all the suspects who were present in the hazing.
Earlier, police arrested six Mapua students who are suspected of participating in the hazing practice that led to Jacinto’s death.
