Toyota Philippines releases safety warning on Prado vehicles
Because of the problems with the so-called Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) program, Toyota Motor Philippines has issued a a safety warning on its Land Cruiser Prado.
According to Toyota, the VSC program should be updated to minimize the danger of the vehicle sliding sideways when turning at high speeds.
Home service repairs will be conducted with no cost to owners. Eight million vehicles worldwide were already recalled due to safety issues.
Land Cruiser Prado is the second Toyota model to be affected in the Philippines. First was the hybrid Prius, which suffered from brake errors.
