Shell, Chevron to implement a raise in fuel prices
Motorists should start driving to gas stations and fill up their tanks as 2 oil firms declared that they are going to raise oil prices Tuesday morning.
According to Pilipinas Shell, it will raise prices of unleaded gasoline by P0.35 per liter, regular gasoline by P0.50 per liter, and kerosene by P0.15 per liter by 12:01 a.m. August 30.
While Chevron Philippines (formerly Caltex), will increase pump prices of Gold, Gold E10, Silver, Silver E10 by P0.35 per liter, regular gasoline by P0.50 per liter, and kerosene by P0.15 per liter. The price will take effec at 6 a.m.
The two oil giants announced there will be no movement on diesel prices.
The oil firms added the increase will appear in international product prices and biofuel costs.
