Police started to attack as tourist bus driver escaped
"Patay na lahat"(they’re all dead!) the driver shouted as he ran towards the media.
BREAKING NEWS: The driver was able to get out of the bus that was taken hostage by Rolando Mendoza.
The driver was running towards the media and was panting very hard when he said everybody’s dead inside the bus.
After several minutes authorities and swat team went near the bus and tried to smash the windows cautiously since there is no confirmation that Mendoza is dead as well. Then there were shots coming inside of the bus, implying that Mendoza is still alive. 15 Chinese nationals were reported to be inside the bus. If the driver’s statements were valid then the 15 tourists are dead now. A female civilian was accidentally shot.
UPDATES: Rolando Mendoza is dead, police are now taking out the hostages, some of them were conscious, some were covered with blood. As of now there are 7 alive hostages and 2 confirmed dead.
