OFWs, beware against franchising scams-Government
This is an important information for our OFWs who are contemplating on how to utilize their earnings.
Department of Trade and Industry has identified at least three fake franchisors. They are:
- Fran.con Franchise Marketing and Consultancy, Inc.
- Hamoraon Business Specialist Inc.
- Michelle Ann Pacubas-Chan (single proprietor)
DTI advises overseas Filipinos to contact Direct Hotline 751-3330 or the Franchising Associations and other relevant government agencies in order to verify if a certain franchisor is legitimate or not.
