Massacre in Cainta on Valentine’s Day

On Valentine’s Day, at least four members of a family were discovered viciously killed in their house  in Cainta town in Rizal province.

On Monday, radio dzBB’s Glen Juego reported that police are now investigating into the possible link of the slain patriarch’s nephew in the killing.

Discovered dead in their house in West Bank Road in San Andres village were patriarch Amado Asebar Sr.; his wife Elizabeth; and children Amado Jr., 14; and Fritzie, 10.

Police Officer 2 Efren Raminan said the four sustained hack wounds in the body and had signs they were hit on the head with hard objects.

He added that the house appeared to be ransacked.

"Allegedly ang suspect, allegedly narining ng kapitbahay [na si] Zenaida Marco, ang nabanggit ng biktima alyas Junjun (Neighbors said they heard the victims calling out the name of the suspect as a certain Junjun)," Raminan said, adding Junjun was allegedly Amado Sr.’s nephew.

Manwhile,  a P100,000 reward will be given to anyone who can give information leading to the arrest of the person behind the gruesome killings.
