Jamby Madrigal veer away froM 'traditional' way of campaign

For Senator Ana Consuela “Jamby" Madrigal the only female presidential candidate in the upcoming May elections promised there will be no overdoing in her kickoff campaign. There will be no big promises and announcements. No “hakot" (paid and bused-in) crowd, but just to present herself to people as an exchange to ‘trapo’ or traditional politicians. Madrigal accompanied by French husband Eric Jean Claude Dudoignon Valade, went to Quiapo Church to hear mass. According to the female senator, she wanted to start her campaign with God. Madrigal dressed in her trademark apple green blazer, brown undershirt and denim pants treaded her way along Carriedo Street after hearing mass. Greeting people, mostly vendors and customers and even shook hands with them. She claims that she will be the one coming to the people not the other way around. The senator has been fasting for the past 15 days "for clean elections."
