Fire hits in KFC QC Branch

One of KFC’s air conditioning units caught fire this Saturday morning in Quezon City. The fast food chain was swallowed by a thick smoke.
Initial findings said the fire hit the KFC East Avenue branch at around 7 a.m.
A crew reportedly saw the smoke that started to cloud the second floor of the store minutes before the scheduled opening.
The crew discovered that the thick smoke was coming out from a burning air conditioning unit.
Reports said the crew attempted to put out the fireby using a fire extinguisher, but failed to do so.
The Quezon City Fire Department immediately responded and was able to stop the fire from further spreading.
The food chain is temporarily closed.
