Earthquake in Surigao

At 7:19 p.m Tuesday, a magnitude of 4.7 quake rocked Surigao area in Mindanao. There were no reports of casualty according to seismologist.
According Phivolcs, the earthquake was tectonic and was also felt in Soccorro, General Luna, Surigao del Norte; Loreto, Dinagat Island Province at Intensity III. Whereas in Surigao City and Tandag, Surigao del Sur, intensity II was felt, and INTENSITY I in placer, Surigao del Norte.
From the reports of the United States Geological Survey, the earthquake measured at a magnitude of 4.6 and traced the epicenter to 45km northeast of Surigao; 100 km south of Guiuan, Samar; 135km north of Butuan, Mindanao; or 720 km, southeast of Manila. Northern Luzon also experienced a magnitude 3.8, but again Phivolcs said there was no casualty and damage. It was tectonic in origin as well.Phivolcs announced that there were no damage at all, and no aftershock is even expected
