Doctor accused of medical malpractice in Bulacan
A medical malpractice and negligence is being accused to a doctor in Bulacan when her patient died under her supervision.
Mr. Jarwin Mendoza, the bereft husband, said that the doctor did not arrive at the hospital when his wife is about to give birth. He also said that the doctor informed them to wait and the nurse injected something on his wife that made his wife sleep. By around 4AM, her wife woke up in pain, yet still without a doctor.
When his wife died, he requested the doctor to have the baby removed but the doctor said that they have to pay Ceasarian (C-section). Now, the remains of the mother and child were finally buried. The grieving husband is firm on filing a case against the accused doctor.
Meanwhile another patient of the doctor surfaced claiming to have undergone a medical malpractice under the doctor’s hand. Her name is Mary Catherine Zamora. She said that she was put to sleep and was injected with steroids because her baby was premature. She had undergone a ceasarean section.
Days after giving birth, she was so shocked to see a yellowish-white fluid coming out of her wound. She found out later that her uterus was infected. Once again she had her operation under the same doctor. She claims that she should have filed a suit against her doctor way back. Now, she’s fighting with Mr. Jarwin Mendoza.
