Disturbed husband decapitates 'vampire' wife in Iloilo
In Iloilo province on Tuesday, an old woman was beheaded by her deranged husband, thinking she was a vampire.
Adela Rojo, 70 years old was discovered without her head past 6 a.m. Tuesday in her home in Sitio Tubudan in Barangay Igcocolo, Guimbal town in Iloilo.
Her husband Rodolfo surrendered on his own to the police. That’s when they found the body of the victim.
Rodolfo confessed that he killed his wife, admitting he mistook her for a vampire.
Meanwhile, family members said that the suspect has been acting really strange lately. The authorities believe the suspect is suffering from a nervous breakdown, but they can’t find the main reason of his condition because of his unstable mental condition.
Police are still waiting whether the family will file charges or not against Rodolfo.
