‘Chedeng’ typhoon might land on Holy Week
Typhoon ”Maysak” is expected to arrive the Philippine area of responsibility on Wednesday, according to weather bureau PAGASA.
PAGASA said that at 10 a.m., Maysak, international name, was seen 2,240 kilometers east of Mindanao and was bringing a maximum sustained winds of 140 kilometers per hour (kph) along the center and gusts of up to 170 kph.
Maysak was heading west at 23 kph. PAGASA added that at this rate, Maysak will get in the PAR on Wednesday.
Maysak’s local name will be ”Chedeng."
