BPO firm heads for expansion

Business processing and cloud-based solutions provider ADP (Philippines), Inc. opened a new facility in Makati City.  The firm is planning to increase  its workforce by next year.

During a press  conference yesterday, ADP (Philippines) general manager John Hickey told reporters  the firm’s new facility would allow it to increase its current capacity to serve clients.

“I think doubling the current number of associates is doable,” he said.

He mentioned  that from November 2010, they  just five associates in November 2010,  now the company  has more than 1,200 associates.

The new facility opened earlier this month.

Taking up five floors at the Glorietta 2 Corporate Center, the facility is the firm’s new headquarters in the country.

Before, the location of the company  office was  at RCBC Plaza in Makati.

The new facility, Hickey said, has a capacity of up to 2,200 associates on a single shift.

On multiple shifts, he said the firm could see its total workforce increase even further.

“With the positive performance and results that we have experienced here in the Philippines, we anticipate strong continued growth in the country,” Hickey said.
