Pacquiao-Clottey, now official!!!
Texas-Manny Pacquiao and Joshua Clottey were all beaming for the announcemet of their slated fight on welterweight division. Freddie Roach, Pacquiao’s trainer, conveyed his excitement by saying that this match is going to be the Super Bowl of Boxing.
Undeniably so, the opening number of the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders really brought it and the stadium is undeniably magnificent. Even Bob Arum, Pacquiao’s promoter, was smittened by the stadium.
The boxers exchanged praises on Tuesday and spurted their delight over the facility and glam of the news conference.
"I like the introduction, I’m surprised. I feel like I’m a….football player!" Pacquiao gushed. It’s as if on cue, Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones presented the boxers their own jersey with no.3 for Pacquiao and no.13 for Clottey, signifying the date of their match.
