Giant waves hit cruise ship
The Greek Louis Cruise Lines ship was off the French port of Marseille when it was crashed by irregular waves.
Some waves were more that 26 feet high. 2 casualties and 14 injured were reported when these abnormal waves hit the cruise ship. The two passengers that were killed was a German and Italian. The ship had 1,350 passengers plus 580 crew on board.
After being hit, the ship turned around and was heading back to port Barcelona. The ship was sailing to Genoa Italy. Reports says that the cause of these irregular waves was the weather, since the winds were at 45 mph at the buoy.
