Co-pilot of Germanwings wanted to crash the plane
Report updates on the Germanwings incident shows that the co-pilot of the aircraft wanted to destroy the plane
Andreas Lubitz who reportedly crashed the plane in the French Alps, had the intention of "destroying the plane", officials said.
Using the information from the "black box" voice recorder, Marseille prosecutor Brice Robin said the co-pilot was alone in the cockpit.
He deliberately began a descent while the pilot was locked out.
According to Mr Robin, there was "absolute silence in the cockpit" as the pilot fought to re-enter it.
He added that air traffic controllers made several attempts to reach the aircraft, but unsuccessful.
Screams of passengers could be heard ]just before the crash, he added.
Investigation for details about the German co-pilot’s past will be checked. His intention for causing the crash is still unknown.
