Avatar beats Titanic
Everybody saw it coming that Avatar will beat Titanic as the highest grossing movie worldwide. According to reports after Monday sales Avatar got $1.859 billion, beating Titanic’s $1.843 billion. It was all good for James Cameron who directed the world’s two biggest movies of all time.
The film took 5 years in the making and is considered as one of the most expensive films with a budget of at least $300 million. It has gained so many praises from fans and critics. Report says that after winning a Golden Globe, Oscar nomination is expected next month.
