CAPCOM vs. NAMCO: Street Fighter X Tekken
At Comic Con, producers of CAPCOM Street Fighter 4, Yoshinori Ono, and of its NAMCO rival Tekken, Katsuhiro Harada, announced that these two great arcade games will join together to develop two versions in the world of Tekken and in Street Fighter, or should we call "CAPCOM vs. NAMCO."
The first is "Street Fighter X Tekken" (Street Fighter Cross Tekken) being developed by CAPCOM was introduced by Ono with a teaser trailer featuring Ryu of Street Fighter against Kazuya Mishima of Tekken. The game features Street Fighter 4 mechanics in 2D and will be available to PlayStation 3 and XBox 360.
Harada, on the other hand, announced the second which is "Tekken X Street Fighter." The featured characters in the game are rumored to fight in a 3D arena from the world of Tekken, being developed by NAMCO.
Attendees of the announcement at Comic Con were provided a live, playable demo of both games where Ryu (SF), Chun-Li (SF), Nina Williams (T) and Kazuya Mishima (T) were part of the roaster.
