Meryll Soriano thinks Willie should return to 'Wowowee'
Are you one of the Wowowee viewers who thinks Willie Revillame should come back or the other way around?
Actress Meryll Soriano, daughter of the controversial host, has also joined calls for Willie Revillame, to recosider and come back to ABS-CBN noontime show “Wowowee.”
Soriano, recently won the best actress prize at 2010 Cinemalaya Film Festival, pointed out that the show is not the same without Revillame, who is still on indefinite leave after his public outburst 2 months ago.
Mery’ll statements came in the middle of speculations that the television host will finally return on July 31. Revillame kept mum on the issue, but the management of ABS-CBN has already issued a statement denying the rumors.
Earlier, even People’s Champ and Sarangani Rep. Manny Pacquiao also expressed his support for Revillame during an event with Willie Revillame at the other side of the room. The tv host just smiled after Pacquiao stated he shoould be back. He said that it was only right for Revillame to host the popular noontime program again.
Meanwhile, Soriano said, Revillame’s health has improved since he went on indefinite break. She said they had a lot of “bonding moments.”
Soriano added that she and her son are spending more time at Revillame’s home.
