Kris Aquino to James Yap: "We stopped loving each other long time ago"
In an interview with Boy Abunda in the Buzz, Queen of talk breaks her silence by admitting the real score of her relationship with husband James Yap. Amid all the controversies surrounding their split, she bravely put up a face and answered questions.
She admitted that she and James has stopped loving each other, a very long time ago, and before releasing a statement, Aquino added that she has sought her sisters most of all her brother ‘s permission to air her side, since she does not want to appear the wife who refuses her husband’s claims of getting back together. It was a known fact that while Kris Aquino was out of the country, James Yap has been saying that he will fight for the relationship. This prompted Kris to encourage James not to be afraid to admit that they don’t love each other anymore.
She also admits that the "Hope issue" has not been resolved as far as she is concerned. She said she was putting up a face that they’re okay but inside, she was tearing apart.
There was a point in her career that it was hard for her to choose roles with kissing scenes since her husband can take it against her by saying " o yan gagawin mo yan para bawian mo ako" , she claims she was crazy loyal, and when asked if for 5 years of being married did she remained loyal, she answered "of course!", she added but if you will ask him(James) "obvious ba? hindi".
On the issue that James got someone pregnant
She said,"Malay Ko, and Okay lang". She said she heard he’s dating somebody else,and she feels it’s okay that it would be easier for her and the country to move on.
On a final not she said that despite all the things that happened, she is still grateful for James for giving her Baby James.
