Kris Aquino takes up ice bucket challenge while on ‘The Buzz’
Queen of Media Kris Aquino was very game when she accepted the ice bucket challenge live on "The Buzz" on Sunday.
According to Aquino, it was actor Derek Ramsey, recommended her to do the challenge on Saturday.
Because the dare was not accomplished within 24 hours, according to the rule, Aquino at the same time will donate to the ALS Association. "Here’s my $100 and I’m donating it to alsa.org," she said.
Aquino nominated ABS-CBN broadcaster Anthony Taberna, "Kris TV" writer Darla Sauler and comedian Vice Ganda to do the challenge.
Toni Gonzaga one of her co-host in the show Toni Gonzaga and her son, James "Bimby" Yap Jr., helped in pouring the bucket of ice-cold water on the host.
The ice bucket challenge that started in the United States just recently became very popular, allowing famous personalittes to take on the challenge, recording themselves while getting poured with ice water on the head within 24 hours of being challenged.
Participants can extend the challenge to other people, and those who will not do the challenge will have to donate to the ALS Association in the United States.
