Failure on Mediation in Katrina Halili libel case vs Irene Kho
A scheduled mediation efforts failed between actress Katrina Halili and the mother of cosmetic surgeon Dr. Hayden Kho. Halili charged Irene Kho of libel.
A Quezon City court was scheduled to accomplish a full blown trial on the merits of the case.
Judge Ma. Filomena Singh of regional trial court Branch 85 requested the parties of Halili and the surgeon’s mother, Irene Kho, to have a mediation however in a session conducted Thursday morning, both parties did not arrrive arrive at a possible out-of-court settlement.
Halili and Dr. Kho were involved in a scandal last year when the video of their sexual rendezvous was uploaded on the Internet.
Halili then filed libel charges against Kho’s mother after accusing Halili that she introduced her son to illegal drugs.
