Deniece Cornejo breaks her silence defends Cedric Lee
After the revelations of actor Francisco “Vhong” Navarro and businessman Cedric Lee have been aired, the controversial lady friend of Navarro Deniece Millet Cornejo comes out for her statement
During an interview with Inquirer Radio 990AM on Monday evening, Cornejo stressed that she is the victim in this situation.
“If there is a victim here, that’s me,” said Cornejo who expressed her anger at Navarro who she said “started it all.”
At the same time. Cornejo defended Lee for being slammed in the alleged rape try.
“All I can say is, if you have a sister or a daughter, if they grew up and there is someone who wants to molest her or rape her, what would be your reaction?” said Cornejo.
Reportedly, Lee and his friends beat up Navarro when they allegedly discovered the actor attempting to rape Cornejo inside her bedroom.
According to Cornejo, she was rushing since she and Lee will go out that evening, however, Navarro pleaded to drop by her place. He arrived at her condominium unit in Bonifacio Global City around 10:30 p.m. last Jan. 22.
She added that Lee came to her because he and his friends were set to pick her up for their trip and she feels bad that the people who came to her defense are now facing charges.
Cornejo mentioned that Lee and his brothers are very close to her.
Meanwhile, she said that she and Navarro had already met earlier but nothing happened between them.
