Actress Katrina Halili breaks her silence and shared her thoughts on the news that celebrity doctor Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho are now all set to settle down.

During  an interview with The Buzz Magazine for its February 2012 issue, Halili admitted  she’s happy for the controversial couple.

"Happy ako para sa kanila kung masaya sila di ba? Hindi tayo puwedeng maging bitter kasi parang nagi-invite tayo ng bitterness sa buhay," Halili said.

Earlier, Halili filed a case against Kho for allegedly spreading copies of their sex videos in 2009.

However,  on December 2010, the court dismissed the case because of lack of evidence.

Finishing  2 days of shoot in the middle of a  tight security in Navotas City, the production team  is all set to shift  to Marikina City on Thursday.

The production crew ended its filming in Navotas City and began  preparing for  scenes at a market in Marikina, radio dzBB reported early Thursday.

However,  the filming in Marikina City might not be as long  as the crew is slated to shoot scenes at the Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) Rotonda area in Pasay City this weekend.

From Friday to Sunday, the crew’s schedule will take place along Rotonda area shooting  action-packed scenes, the report added.

Meanwhile, bystanders are prohibited to take pictures  and videos while shoot is going on.
 

A well known makeup artist Juan Sarte insisted  that the photo of international singing sensation Charice on Preview magazine for January 2012 issue of Preview magazine was not digitally altered.

"Charice for Preview Behind the Scenes video. Eto ang pruweba. Hindi po yun Photoshop," Sarte said via microblogging site Twitter late Monday, providing a link to the video.

A video  of behind the scenes in  the magazine’s pictorial  was already uploaded and getting views on YouTube.

People behind the cover shoot were photographer Marc Nicdao, hair stylist Buern Rodriguez, Sarte and fashion stylist Liz Uy.

Charice celebrated an early Christmas in Manila, is now getting ready  for a big  project that will be revealed this year.

She will also be doing  an Asia-Pacific tour this year.

Taking home the huge awards was the movie Manila Kingpin: The Asiong Salonga Story in the Awards night of the 37th Metro Manila Film Festival. The event was held at Resorts World Manila Performing Arts Theater in Pasay.

A total of 11 trophies were bagged by Manila Kingpin  which includes: Best Picture, Best Screenplay for  Roy Iglesias and Ray Venura, Gatpuno Villegas Cultural Award, Best Supporting Actor for  John Regala, and Best Director.

Meanwhile, actress Maricel Soriano was the Best Actress for their movie Yesterday Today Tomorrow. Earlier, it was reported that the actress will not attend the awards night along with the other actors after the controversial disqualification of their movie by the festival committee.  The disqualification came about after knowing that  the movie violated the rules of MMFF.

In the Best Actor category, Dingdong Dantes  was the winner, however the actor was not present. He starred in the suspense-thriller movie Segunda Mano with Kris Aquino.

 Singer  Christian Bautista quickly defended  his friend also a singer Mark Bautista, whose name is being attached  into the breakup of celebrity couple Piolo Pascual and KC Concepcion.
 
During an  interview with Push.com.ph, Christian cleared  rumors that Mark is gay.

“Mark is not gay. Ganun ang industry. Matagal na ito. It’s not new, and Mark and Piolo have proven themselves time and time again. No matter merong isyu na ganito, they will survive. They have songs, they have concerts,” he said.

Christian revealed that he himself was also once a victim of such rumor. However, instead of settling on the issue, the romantic balladeer opted to ignore and  move on.

Meanwhile, Christian said he has not yet talked to Concepcion and Pascual, who happens to be his friends.

He said he will continue to  pray that the two will be able to overcome  this challenge in their lives.

“In any breakup, medyo malungkot. They’re both my friends. They just have to go through it,” he said.

After his last minute change of plans to be interviewed, DJ Mo Twister makes  his final official statement on the alleged "Rhian Ramos abortion" issue that surfaced due to illegal  uploading of the video where he revealed about his ex-girlfriend Rhian, her family and manager, her TV network, and the abortion of their 3 ½ month old child the night before the supposed procedure happen  in Singapore.

On December 4, 201, 103.5 WOW FM’s showbiz radio talk show Showbiz Rampa hosted by Noel Ferrer with Dehins Trillo and Boy Dale aired  Mo’s statement.

There are so many questions to be answered. I don’t even know where to start. I guess I can only hope in time, the whole and accurate story will be the one told. It may be too long to write now, but I know a short statement is in order.

"Currently, I’m in disarray because of how fast and unexpected this has all become. I’m confused on whether I should do any interviews or just keep silent about the whole thing. One moment I think I should explain, the other I think I should shut up. I don’t even know anymore.

"I am disappointed about the video. I’m saddened about the rumors of its upload. Most of all, I’m ashamed at myself for the loss of our child. It was something I never wanted to happen. It went against my every value and until this very day, it makes me breakdown in tears – something I never have moved on from – I don’t think any parent can.

"Of course it was done with utmost regret and I still wonder if I did all that I can to prevent it from happening. I thought I did, but I ultimately sided with the decision of my girlfriend, because I was put against a wall, to a point where I had to choose between the safety of the person that I love and the life of our child.

"As you have heard or read in the video, I do not blame Rhian for our actions even though it was no one else’s choice. The pressure on her was too great.

"Am I upset at her? No. However, I do feel sad about the opinions of the people who are closest to her. You see, I am pro-life. I know we all have a different stance about this sensitive topic, but I am and have always been such.

"You may ask why I still allowed for it to happen and my answer is, I don’t know. I thought I tried and prayed enough for the circumstances to change but it did not. And I know I will pay for this for the rest of this life and beyond.

"To be completely honest, I am saddened by the reaction of her mom and manager. It has hurt me almost as much as the deed itself. I was shocked to learn of their stance regarding a future family member of theirs. When I went to them to seek their help and comfort, all the focus was put on her career and her body image.

"I was told that the baby wasn’t even a baby, even though I was present during the ultra sound, heard the heartbeat of our 3 ½ month old child, saw it being formed into a young human being. I was even more shocked when she was being referred to as a ‘brand’ rather than as a daughter/niece.

"To be honest, I felt sick hearing this from people who are so openly Christian. They said, verbatim, ‘Hindi naman ikaw yung tataba, hindi naman ikaw yung papanget, hindi ikaw ang magdadala at sasakit ang likod. It wasn’t a baby.’

"These words were being screamed at me while I sat there in tears. I understand that this may possibly have a negative impact on her career, but it was our child – it was not an inconvenience that is more important than fame and money.

"After this intense ordeal last year, I recently found out this wasn’t the only time. It was in this moment that I felt my world crash. I hope you don’t find this as hypocritical of myself, but you cannot get away with killing children—I included.

"I made the video as a memento of this tragic event and that it should never happen again. It was meant for me to always remind myself that we paid an enormous sacrifice for this job and this relationship.

"I had no choice, I was not asked my thoughts – it was just going to be the way it went. So I made videos and I kept all the memories that I could hold onto.

"Rhian knew about all of this. To a point where months ago, when they thought a lawyer was needed to aid in our breakup, that I was asked to surrender all of this ‘proof’ (as they called it) to them for it to be destroyed.

"I naturally gave in to their request, because for the second time, I chose my girlfriend over the memory of our child. I specifically asked them to not destroy it, to please return it to me 50 years from now when all this showbiz priorities and ‘branding’ wouldn’t mean so much anymore. Along with my files, they took my computer and erased it in front of me.

"This was all documented by her legal staff.

"Until this very day, I love Rhian very much. We had to lie to the public about our ongoing relationship and I understood why. I would never want to hurt her and I tried my best to protect her when rumors of past abortions would surface. I aggressively pursued bloggers and other people who had info of past incidents and told them to be quiet.

"They know who they are. Unfortunately, we find ourselves here today. People are in possession of these videos. I know that the copies in my laptop were not the only ones destroyed. In a brown envelope, I handed these files to the family and begged them to salvage them. My laptop may have been compromised. I really don’t know. There will be rumors for a long time, I am aware of that, but it will not hurt as much as the memory of what truly happened – we lost our child and I have not moved on from it.

"I am aware that GMA would like to prosecute me for this. I would like to apologize to the network for putting them in a bad light.

"This decision to have an abortion was not something the network instructed us to do. I was shocked that one of their officers, Ida Henares, had an unfavorable opinion about the pregnancy, but I am aware that her opinion doesn’t reflect the opinion of the network. I understand that and I am sorry if the words on my ‘video diary’ depicted otherwise.

"I’m sorry to Rhian that our rollercoaster relationship ended the way it did. There was much more going on than people know. But I love you. I always have. The few people who knew about us also knew how much we cared for each other. We talked about marriage, we almost bought a home together a few months ago, we were planning to have the family we lost.

"I don’t have a message for the general public. This is the shortest explanation I can give for now. Maybe one day I can answer more, or whenever it is necessary. We all have a certain set of values. I will respect yours and I hope you will respect mine. This is me in the most honest and rawest form.

"I can only make one promise: I will never, ever agree to take the life of a child again. It doesn’t matter if it isn’t my body or my choice. I will not be put against the wall again. I should have stood my ground, fought harder, delayed it longer, encourage more people to talk her out of it.

"I regret being there. I regret it all.

Expecting his clarification in his former Sunday talk show Paparazzi  on the Kapatid network, Mo changed his mind and instead wrote to the show. He tweeted: i wont be on paparazzi today doing an interview. ive thought against it. i will write a letter instead to our show.

Earlier Mo Twister airs his side  on a controversial video posted on the Internet.

Late Friday afternoon, a troubled video of Mo was uploaded  on the Internet revealing  that ex-girlfriend and Kapuso star Rhian Ramos had an abortion in Singapore July of last year.

In the video, it seems  Mo was talking to himself, sobbing most of the time and said the file will serve as a ‘souvenir’ of what happened in Ritz-Carlton Hotel on the evening of July 28, 2010 and what is about to take place in an unidentified hospital in Singapore the next  day.

Mo said it was a difficult situation for both of them, especially for Rhian because the actress felt great pressure from her station, manager and family.

Immediately  after the video spread online, Mo came to a decision to cancel the sent off party he planned  that evening with showbiz and non-showbiz friends.

Apart from the cancelation tweet, Mo attempted to explain his side on the video and the supposed  abortion issue.

Mo said he had nothing to do with the uploaded video on YouTube by a certain ‘PrettyJenny55’.

“I know you all have so many questions about what happened. I can’t give any clear answers right now because I too am wondering how it all got here.”

He clarified that a lot of his things were sold  including his computers where the said video, which he said he has deleted, was stored.

According to Mo, someone  ‘repaired’ his erased personal files and one of these, this particular video, was uploaded in the Internet.

“I feel terrible about it,” Mo posted.

Meanwhile, the disk jockey also decided  to stay in Manila until Monday, to assist in  clearing and answer all the issues as well as to probe on who retrieved and posted the said deleted files.

Emotional TV host KC Concepcion let tears flow following her admittance on "The Buzz" that she and her boyfriend, actor Piolo Pascual, have already called it quits.

She was avoiding  the media for so long, television host KC Concepcion finally came out and  admitted that she and her boyfriend, actor Piolo Pascual, have ended their relationship.

In her interview with Boy Abunda, she openly told him the pain and hurt she went through while fighting for the relationship.

When she was  asked about  the reason of their break-up, Concepcion meaningfully said: “May mga hinahanap ako na napaka-basic lang na hanapin ng isang babae sa isang boyfriend, sa isang lalaki. Ayaw ko na siguro pumunta sa details kasi parang ayaw kong siraan siya.”

“Let’s just say na lahat talaga kaya ko… tinanggap ko ang anak niya. Kahit may mga times na hindi ko siya maintindihan, tinanggap ko kasi sinasabi sa akin ng mga kaibigan namin na personality niya yun,” she said.

“Kapag may mga bagay na hindi ako sang-ayon na dapat ginagawa sa isang babae, tinatanggap ko kasi naniniwala ako na mabait siyang tao. May mga bagay na hindi ko na kayang lunukin. Hindi ko na kaya yun tanggapin,” she added.

Meanwhile, Concepcion said  that it’s also partly her fault since  she badly wanted their relationship to work.

She said she is mad right now but she didn’t want to answer whether there is a third party.

When asked about her thoughts on what was her shortcoming in their relationship, Concepcion said: “Masakit mang sabihin, hindi ako yung…siguro nag-fail din ako, dahil hindi ako yung kailangan niya sa buhay niya or hindi ako yung hinahanap niya sa buhay niya. And hindi ko mabigay sa kanya yung kailangan niya.”

Queen of all media  and “presidential sister” Kris Aquino  shared her views on social networking site, Twitter, her thoughts about the unanimous Supreme Court (SC) decision to distribute the land of Cojuangco-owned Hacienda Luisita to the farmers.

In her Twitter account @itsmekrisaquino, the youngest sister of President Benigno Aquino III began with: "Tomorrow, Nov. 27, will mark our Dad, Ninoy Aquino’s 79th birthday. I believe PNoy inherited our Dad’s courage in fighting for what is lawful and just."

After 24 minutes, she "tweeted" a family anecdote, which she said she could relate to the recent SC decision:
 
"Since Luisita is very much in the news, may I share a beautiful story? When our Dad was imprisoned during Martial Law, our lolo Pepe Cojuangco visited him (lolo Pepe died in the mid ’70s)."
 
"Our Dad was being offered a deal, everything taken away from our Mom’s parents would be "given back" by the Marcos regime as long as my Dad signed papers admitting his guilt in the made up charges leveled against him."
 
"My Dad lost his own father at 15 and Lolo Pepe was really like his own father. My Dad told our lolo he’d sign the papers because he didn’t want to see my grandparents suffer and lose so much."
 
"Lolo Pepe told Dad, ‘Ninoy kaya namin. I’ll take care of Cory and the kids. You fight for what is right because we believe in you.’"
 
Aquino ended  her story by saying:
 
"I hope that gives most of you a clearer picture of what my Mom’s family is like. How they suffered and stood with my Dad and took care of us through the worst. To think, Ninoy Aquino was only their in-law," she "tweeted".
 
"We respect the Supreme Court, we survived even when they took everything from us, including our Dad’s life — and we will survive even this," she added.
 
 
 Meanwhile, Kris Aquino’s thoughts didn’t sit well with some "Tweeps." They think the story of the TV host was insensitive.

An emotional Actress Nadia Montenegro faced the camera for an intervie and she insisted  that talent manager Annabelle Rama was unable to answer the alleged  child abuse against her daughters who were under Rama’s care.

Montenegro submitted a four-page reply affidavit Tuesday morning, saying Rama’s counteraffidavit “failed to controvert or deny” the accusations against her.

“Instead of answering the factual allegations and confronting the legal issues concerning the children’s charges of child abuse and exploitation and oral defamation, the respondent has chosen to hide behind what she believed are fatal technicalities in our complaint in a desperate attempt to shield herself from criminal culpability,” the affidavit read.

Meanwhile state prosecutor Leizel Aquiatan Morales scheduked  the next hearing for the preliminary investigation at the Quezon City prosecutors’ office on November 29.
