Actress Katrina Halili breaks her silence and shared her thoughts on the news that celebrity doctor Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho are now all set to settle down.

During  an interview with The Buzz Magazine for its February 2012 issue, Halili admitted  she’s happy for the controversial couple.

"Happy ako para sa kanila kung masaya sila di ba? Hindi tayo puwedeng maging bitter kasi parang nagi-invite tayo ng bitterness sa buhay," Halili said.

Earlier, Halili filed a case against Kho for allegedly spreading copies of their sex videos in 2009.

However,  on December 2010, the court dismissed the case because of lack of evidence.

A well known makeup artist Juan Sarte insisted  that the photo of international singing sensation Charice on Preview magazine for January 2012 issue of Preview magazine was not digitally altered.

"Charice for Preview Behind the Scenes video. Eto ang pruweba. Hindi po yun Photoshop," Sarte said via microblogging site Twitter late Monday, providing a link to the video.

A video  of behind the scenes in  the magazine’s pictorial  was already uploaded and getting views on YouTube.

People behind the cover shoot were photographer Marc Nicdao, hair stylist Buern Rodriguez, Sarte and fashion stylist Liz Uy.

Charice celebrated an early Christmas in Manila, is now getting ready  for a big  project that will be revealed this year.

She will also be doing  an Asia-Pacific tour this year.

 Singer  Christian Bautista quickly defended  his friend also a singer Mark Bautista, whose name is being attached  into the breakup of celebrity couple Piolo Pascual and KC Concepcion.
 
During an  interview with Push.com.ph, Christian cleared  rumors that Mark is gay.

“Mark is not gay. Ganun ang industry. Matagal na ito. It’s not new, and Mark and Piolo have proven themselves time and time again. No matter merong isyu na ganito, they will survive. They have songs, they have concerts,” he said.

Christian revealed that he himself was also once a victim of such rumor. However, instead of settling on the issue, the romantic balladeer opted to ignore and  move on.

Meanwhile, Christian said he has not yet talked to Concepcion and Pascual, who happens to be his friends.

He said he will continue to  pray that the two will be able to overcome  this challenge in their lives.

“In any breakup, medyo malungkot. They’re both my friends. They just have to go through it,” he said.

Emotional TV host KC Concepcion let tears flow following her admittance on "The Buzz" that she and her boyfriend, actor Piolo Pascual, have already called it quits.

She was avoiding  the media for so long, television host KC Concepcion finally came out and  admitted that she and her boyfriend, actor Piolo Pascual, have ended their relationship.

In her interview with Boy Abunda, she openly told him the pain and hurt she went through while fighting for the relationship.

When she was  asked about  the reason of their break-up, Concepcion meaningfully said: “May mga hinahanap ako na napaka-basic lang na hanapin ng isang babae sa isang boyfriend, sa isang lalaki. Ayaw ko na siguro pumunta sa details kasi parang ayaw kong siraan siya.”

“Let’s just say na lahat talaga kaya ko… tinanggap ko ang anak niya. Kahit may mga times na hindi ko siya maintindihan, tinanggap ko kasi sinasabi sa akin ng mga kaibigan namin na personality niya yun,” she said.

“Kapag may mga bagay na hindi ako sang-ayon na dapat ginagawa sa isang babae, tinatanggap ko kasi naniniwala ako na mabait siyang tao. May mga bagay na hindi ko na kayang lunukin. Hindi ko na kaya yun tanggapin,” she added.

Meanwhile, Concepcion said  that it’s also partly her fault since  she badly wanted their relationship to work.

She said she is mad right now but she didn’t want to answer whether there is a third party.

When asked about her thoughts on what was her shortcoming in their relationship, Concepcion said: “Masakit mang sabihin, hindi ako yung…siguro nag-fail din ako, dahil hindi ako yung kailangan niya sa buhay niya or hindi ako yung hinahanap niya sa buhay niya. And hindi ko mabigay sa kanya yung kailangan niya.”

Queen of all media  and “presidential sister” Kris Aquino  shared her views on social networking site, Twitter, her thoughts about the unanimous Supreme Court (SC) decision to distribute the land of Cojuangco-owned Hacienda Luisita to the farmers.

In her Twitter account @itsmekrisaquino, the youngest sister of President Benigno Aquino III began with: "Tomorrow, Nov. 27, will mark our Dad, Ninoy Aquino’s 79th birthday. I believe PNoy inherited our Dad’s courage in fighting for what is lawful and just."

After 24 minutes, she "tweeted" a family anecdote, which she said she could relate to the recent SC decision:
 
"Since Luisita is very much in the news, may I share a beautiful story? When our Dad was imprisoned during Martial Law, our lolo Pepe Cojuangco visited him (lolo Pepe died in the mid ’70s)."
 
"Our Dad was being offered a deal, everything taken away from our Mom’s parents would be "given back" by the Marcos regime as long as my Dad signed papers admitting his guilt in the made up charges leveled against him."
 
"My Dad lost his own father at 15 and Lolo Pepe was really like his own father. My Dad told our lolo he’d sign the papers because he didn’t want to see my grandparents suffer and lose so much."
 
"Lolo Pepe told Dad, ‘Ninoy kaya namin. I’ll take care of Cory and the kids. You fight for what is right because we believe in you.’"
 
Aquino ended  her story by saying:
 
"I hope that gives most of you a clearer picture of what my Mom’s family is like. How they suffered and stood with my Dad and took care of us through the worst. To think, Ninoy Aquino was only their in-law," she "tweeted".
 
"We respect the Supreme Court, we survived even when they took everything from us, including our Dad’s life — and we will survive even this," she added.
 
 
 Meanwhile, Kris Aquino’s thoughts didn’t sit well with some "Tweeps." They think the story of the TV host was insensitive.

After a positive feedback from her US concert tour,  daughter of Megastar singer-actress KC Concepcion went to Palembang, Indonesia to get ready for her performance at the opening ceremonies of the 26th Southeast Asian Games (SEAG) which kicks off on Friday.

Posting in her  Twitter account on Wednesday, Concepcion said she arrived in Indonesia after catching four planes.

“Hi guys! 4 planes, 2 sunrises,1 sunset & 27 hours later… I am now officially a CLOUD IMMIGRANT! For now? Touchdown: Palembang, Sumatra!” she said.

KC will sing  “Together We Will Shine” together with Indonesian actress-singer Agnes Mojica and Malaysian belter Jakclyn Victor.

The  opening of SEA Games can be viewed  live on Studio 23 at 8 p.m. on Friday.

 Raymart Santiago and Claudine Barretto on Friday shot down  rumors that their marriage is over.

In their joint statement issued by Barretto’s talent manager, Shirley Kuan, they said their marriage remains intact.

“We are still together, we have not separated, we love each other, and we both value and cherish our marriage and relationship. Any issues that we may have are private, and do not detract from, nor diminish, the strength of our marriage,” the statement said.

The couple is appealing to the public not to judge their relationship causing hurt to their love ones.

Meanwhile, a  Pilipino Star Ngayon column by Nitz Miralles, reported that Barretto was looking for a new house earlier before the recent controversy over the mysterious "disappearance" of the balance of their joint account.

In the report, it  said Barretto was looking for  a house near their conjugal property so she could still see their children, who were reportedly in the custody of Santiago.   

After more than two years now, there have been constant  rumors that the relationship between  Claudine Barretto and Raymart Santiago are on the rocks, it seems the couple reached their breaking point.

In earlier reports, Claudine shot down  the rumors and even presented photos (published with the story) to state  that she and Raymart were okay.

However,  something went  wrong  the other day. Here’s how the “insider” narrated the incident to Funfare:

“When Claudince arrived home from a taping last Tuesday, she found Raymart’s cars (several of them) missing at the garage. She got very worried. Woman’s intuition, you know. Since she and Raymart were having trouble, Claudine suspected ‘something.’ She called her lawyer and they went to the bank to withdraw P5M from her and Raymart’s joint account (presumably ‘and/or’).

“The bank branch manager told them to wait while he prepared a manager’s check because, they were told, the amount was too big. After waiting for 30 to 40 minutes, Claudine and her lawyer asked why it was taking the branch manager to issue the check, only to be informed that the account had ‘zero balance.’ That’s when Claudine broke down, which was caught by on camera by a 24 Oras news reporter.”

Funfare tried to reach  Claudine  but the actress is not available for comments.

“She’s incommunicado, crying and crying,” said somebody close to Claudine.

Funfare has also found out that the two has been separated for two months now.

After the controversial photo of Nora Aunor with a cigarette in hand, this time, actress and television host Anne Curtis got the attention  of “smoke-free Philippines” campaign advocates after seeing a  copy of her “Rogue” magazine cover photo.

In the reported photograph, Curtis was on a balcony in Paris with a cigarette in hand.

Philippine Medical Association (PMA) was not happy  by the said image.

PMA appealed to  publishers, producers, and artists to be more sensitive and responsible with their representations considering their great influence over the public, especially among children.

The organization expressed their worries that the image may send  a wrong message about smoking among kids.

Meanwhile, since the actress is currently in Thailand, she  and the management of “Rogue” magazine have not yet released a statement regarding this issue.

GMA’s talent Kris Bernal breaks her silence about the rumor that she’s pregnant. Portraying a role in GMA tv series Time of my Life, she admits that she’s gaining weight.

She thinks that the issue spawned from her new pleasure of eating sweets like ice cream and cake.

“Siguro mga nasa 8 pounds (ang nadagdag sa timbang). Mabilis akong pumayat, mabilis din akong bumilog," said Kris  during an interview with  Cata Tibayan of Chika Minute a showbiz news segment in GMA news 24 Oras.

Bernal said she’s not pregnant. Posting in her Twitter account, she expressed her feelings about the issue.

“@nakakainis ung mga taong hinihila ka pababa, pnapasama loob mo dahil alam nilang masaya ka..at successful… at lumelevel up ka … : )," Kris posted.
